The product helps in de-coloring, flocculating, and reducing COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) in the water, thereby improving water quality for discharge or further use in agricultural settings. This is particularly important in animal farming to maintain environmental standards and reduce the impact of agricultural effluents on the ecosystem.

Product Description:
  • BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is a chemical used for the treatment of dye wastewater. It works by providing cations that neutralize the negative charge on dye molecules, making them less stable. This allows the dye molecules to be adsorbed by hydrolysis flocs, leading to their destabilization and removal from the water.
  • BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is particularly effective in treating wastewater that contains hydrophilic dyes such as reactive dyes, acid dyes, and disperse dyes. It has several advantages such as low dosage, high color removal efficiency, and fast processing speed. It also improves the clarity of the liquid and reduces the COD (chemical oxygen demand) composition, which enhances the COD removal rate.
  • To reduce the cost of treating color wastewater, it is recommended to use poly aluminium chloride in conjunction with BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent. This helps to reduce the dosage of the decoloring agent required.
  • BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is safe to use and non-toxic. It is soluble in water and can be stored at room temperature. However, it should be kept away from direct sunlight. It is slightly acidic, and if it comes into contact with skin, it should be washed off immediately with plenty of water.

Application Methods:

1

Make BWD-01 solution, and mix with 40 times water to have 2.5% solution for use.

Make PAC solution, 2-5% Al2O3

Make a solution of Anionic Polyelectrolyte, 0.1%.

Prepare the effluent, test pH value, and adjust pH value to 8-9. (It is very important, higher or lower pH, BWD-01 works not well)

Add PAC solution, and mix with effluent completely. about 1-3 minutes

Add BWD-01 solution, and mix with effluent completely, about 5-10 minutes

Add small content of anionic polyelectrolyte solution, and mix slowly to have a big floc. (this step is a suggestion)

Check the color of treated effluent

Adjust the dosage of BWD-01 and PAC to do more tests to have better testing results.

Package and Storage:
  1. Packed in 30kgs, 50kgs, 250kgs net plastic drums, and 1250kgs net IBC drums, or others according to the requirements of clients.
  2. Suggested to store at room temperature, would show slight stratification or appear white at low temperature, cannot be placed in the sun.
